Our Staff

Luke Beiler
Administrator, Teacher

Mr. Beiler earned his BS at George Mason University in 1985 with a major in Biology and a minor in Education. He has taught and been an administrator in small Christian schools in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and California for over twenty years. Mr. Beiler enjoys reading, traveling with his wife, riding his motorcycle, and observing nature. He has taught science, math, and other subjects as needed for most of his years of teaching. During his years out of the classroom, Mr. Beiler built a house his family, worked as an office manager and salesman, and ran his own online business selling Amish-built swingsets, sheds, and gazebos. Mr. Beiler enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren in Pennsylvania, California, Alaska, Laos, and Thailand. He finds fulfillment in seeing lives impacted by God’s grace.

Jessica Yoder
Assistant Administrator, Teacher

Miss Jess earned her BA in English Language Learner Studies in 2017. Now in her ninth year at LARCS, she enjoys teaching a variety of grades and subjects, especially English. Most of all, she loves building relationships with her students and finding creative ways to learn together. Miss Jess still marvels that God called her from small-town Colorado to the big city and loves watching Him work here. She enjoys reading, writing, baking, and glimpsing waves and mountains in the same view.

Governance

We operate in partnership with New Life Church. The church meets at 10:30 every Sunday morning in East Los Angeles.

The school is governed by the L.A. ROAD Christian School Board, a nonprofit operating in cooperation with New Life Church.

L.A. ROAD Christian School policies are set by the local administrative team in consultation with the board and the local church.
